Formula SAE’s mission is to educate students as professional engineers and leaders through the development of a competitive prototype vehicle. Working with the team takes students out of the classroom and allows them to apply textbook theories to real work experience.

Team goals

In June 2012, the FSAE team successfully competed in the 2012 Formula SAE Michigan competition, placing 16th out of 120 teams. The team traveled to Toronto, Canada in October 2013 for the University of Toronto Shoutout race, and will be racing their newly built electric car in the FSAE Electric Competition in Lincoln, Nebraska this June.
