Spokes is a team of seven Harvard, Columbia, and MIT students who cycled this past summer from San Francisco, CA to Washington, DC on a quest to show kids how much fun learning can be. In 10-15 cities along our way the team organized "learning festivals." Each learning festival consisted of hands-on, project-based classes taught by students passionate about their respective fields. The bicycling component provided a great example project to show to the students.
