Spokes

Spokes is a team of seven Harvard and MIT students who are cycling from Washington, D.C. to San Francisco. The team will visit a dozen school and summer camps, stopping in more than ten public schools throughout the country, to hold learning festivals. Each learning festival consisted of hands-on, project-based classes taught by students passionate about their respective fields. They'll also run a computer science workshop where each student will learn to write code on a computer. The bicycling component provided a great example project to show to the students.
