You GO Girl returns in the summer of 2017!  After much deliberation, we have decided on the week of July 3rd for our program.  We will be observing the National Holiday on July 4, so our program will run July 3, 5, 6 and 7.

Our four-day summer program is an on-campus introductory science and engineering program for girls entering ninth grade in the fall. The camp provides an introductory sampling of hands-on science and engineering activities mixed with high school preparatory sessions. Girls build motorized LEGO® cars, experiment with strobe-light photography, “breed” LEGO fish cells to understand the relationships between genes and traits, and more. Any girl who can commute to our program on the MIT campus is eligible to attend, though preference is given to applicants from the greater Boston area. There is a suggested materials donation of $50.00.

The program accepts a group of 24 girls, keeping 3-5 students on a waitlist.  We run from 8:30am- 2:30pm, and expect families to be responsible for transportation to and from the MIT campus.  Time is set aside each day for a brown bag lunch break.
