· Build an LED flashlight!
· Make electrical circuits and learn how to solder a pc board and more!
Students spend four days working with Edgerton Center and GE staff building flashlights, soldering electrical connections, running chemical reactions and learning how airplanes fly. The program, funded by General Electric and developed by members of the GE Women’s Network, the MIT Edgerton Center aims to interest girls in science and technology and ultimately increase the number of female engineers.
