Recreate existing K-12 lessons in a virtual format

Looking for 2 students to work with Edgerton Center Outreach Coordinator to translate some of our long-running hands-on field trip activities to this new learning style for K-12.  Existing curriculum is a starting point, but new ideas are welcome for content and presentation.  State frameworks and an understanding of age-appropriate activities will guide the development. Students will work cooperatively with frequent check-ins with Coordinator.

  • 5-9 hours/ week of asynch work, with weekly hour-long meetings with Coordinator
  • Prior curriculum writing not required, prior work with youth (especially 4th-8th grade) a HUGE plus
  • Rollout of pilot(s) by IAP or mid-spring 2021
