Coronavirus Update - MIT administration has announced restrictions that require the cancellation of any programs that would bring K-12 students to MIT between now and May 15, 2020. Furthermore, MIT administration has posted a notice that there are to be no in-person programs (either on- or off-campus) with the K-12 community.
Edgerton Outreach - Since 1996, our science and engineering field trips have provided primary and secondary school students with activities that cultivate curiosity and a sense of accomplishment in science and engineering.
Our three-hour classes are available during the school day (which includes a 30-minute break for lunch) and take place in our lab on the MIT campus. Start times are determined by when groups can arrive.The program is available at no cost to public school classes, private school classes, homeschool groups, and community groups.

We offer 11 unique activities led by Edgerton Center instructors and supported by MIT students.
