For rising seventh-grade girls from Lynn Public Schools.

GE Girls @ MIT ran in 2021, following COVID restrictions.

Students spent four days working with Edgerton Center and GE staff building flashlights, soldering electrical connections, running chemical reactions and learning how airplanes fly. The program, funded by General Electric and developed by members of the GE Women’s Network, the MIT Edgerton Center aims to interest girls in science and technology and ultimately increase the number of female engineers. (Applicants limited to residents of Lynn, MA)

GE Girls @ MIT will run a 2022 session, but the registration is now CLOSED.
