Next Engineers - GE Girls @ MIT

Students spent five days working with Edgerton Center and GE Aerospace staff building flashlights, soldering electrical connections, running chemical reactions and learning how airplanes fly. The program, funded by General Electric and developed by members of the GE Women’s Network and the MIT Edgerton Center, aims to interest girls in science and technology and ultimately increase the number of female engineers.
