Coronavirus Update - At this time, our program is offering two virtual lessons, Flashlight Building or Quizboards. Materials will be provided, but arrangements must be made for their pickup.
MIT has set up a system to allow in-person field trips to start again. There are a few more steps, but we would LOVE to see classes on campus!
Edgerton Outreach - Since 1996, our science and engineering field trips have provided primary and secondary school students with activities that cultivate curiosity and a sense of accomplishment in science and engineering.
Our three-hour classes are available during the school day (which includes a 15-30 minute mid-point bio break) and are available as a virtual lesson only. Start times are determined through consensus with MIT and school instructors. The program is available at no cost to public school classes, private school classes, homeschool groups, and community groups.
Check the calendar for availability; we are limited to one group per day.
