"Edgerton Outreach" - Since 1996, our science and engineering field trips have provided primary and secondary school students with activities that cultivate curiosity and a sense of accomplishment in science and engineering.

Our three-hour classes are available during the school day (which includes a 30-minute break for lunch), with start times determined by when groups can arrive, and take place in our lab on the MIT campus. The Edgerton Center offers 11 unique activities led by Edgerton instructors and supported by MIT students. The program is available for no cost to school- and homeschooling-groups. (Please view the calendar for availability; we are limited to one group visit per day, our classroom seats 24.)
